Personal Lines Insurance Broker (Ontario-Based)

Location: Hybrid – Work from home with occasional in-office training (Clinton, Exeter, London, or Mitchell, ON)
Salary Range: $45,000 – $80,000 CAD (Based on experience)
License Required: RIBO

About the Role

We’re currently looking for a Personal Lines Insurance Broker to support a growing portfolio of clients across Ontario. You’ll be the go-to contact for all things personal insurance — from renewals and policy changes to claims support and day-to-day client care. This is a hybrid role with initial training onsite, followed by flexible remote work options.

What You’ll Do

  • Client Management: Handle a dedicated book of business, support renewals, and respond to client inquiries by phone or email.
  • Policy Servicing: Manage all aspects of personal lines policies — including documentation, binders, endorsements, and renewals.
  • Claims Assistance: Collect claim information, communicate with insurers, and update clients on the process.
  • Documentation & Accuracy: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of renewal documents, invoices, and other policy paperwork.
  • Cross-Team Support: Step in for fellow brokers when needed due to vacations or leaves.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Follow procedures and stay compliant with insurance industry standards.

What You Bring

  • Must Have: RIBO License
  • Experience: At least 1 year in a brokerage or client-facing insurance role
  • Tech Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Applied TAM/Epic is a bonus
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking and initiative when identifying client needs and coverage gaps
  • Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written communication
  • Detail-Focused: Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
